Jeremy Sanders is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina. He is currently a third-year law student at the University of North Carolina School of Law. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2012 with a double major in American History and Peace, War, and Defense. While completing his bachelor's degree, he was a member of North Carolina’s 2012 Teaching Fellows Cohort. After completing his undergraduate degree, he completed a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in high school social studies at UNC in 2013. After completing law school, he will be a triple Tar Heel!
Before returning to law school, Jeremy was a high school social studies teacher in North Carolina for eight years. He taught American History, World History, Civics and Economics, and English. While teaching, he coached various sports, sponsored multiple clubs, and still stays in touch with several of his former students. Jeremy also serves as an officer in the North Carolina Army National Guard.
Jeremy resides in Durham with his wife, son, and dog. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, exercising, reading, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
